DEADLY DIABETES

Stress is a part of our daily lives and it can become really unhealthy for us. It begins to ruin our physical or psychological health. It can damage important things in our lives such as our work and relationships. Stress can develop many disorders in your body and diabetes is one of them.

WHAT IS DIABETES?

Diabetes is a metabolism disorder. Most of what we eat is converted into glucose. Glucose being a form of sugar in our blood is the primary source for fueling our body. Diabetes is excess of glucose in your blood and this excess blood glucose eventually passes out of the body in urine. So even though the blood has plenty of glucose, the cells are not getting it for their essential energy and growth requirements.

HOW BAD IS DIABETES?

We have listed a few complications linked to diabetes. Have a look and judge it yourself:
Eye Complications - Affects your vision, disturbs the clarity in your vision. Can cause blurriness.    Foot Complications – Can develop gangrene which may require your foot to be amputated.
Skin Complications – Your skin becomes more susceptible to infections and skin disorders.

Apart from the above, it can cause heart problems, hypertension, affect your mental health... and list goes on.

DIABETES + STRESS: A LETHAL COMBINATION

The body responds to stress by preparing itself to take action. This is called the “fight-or-flight” response. In the fight-or-flight response, the levels of many hormones elevate. These hormones include growth hormone, adrenaline and glucocorticosteroids. If you have diabetes, the fight-or-flight response can cause you problems. As your blood glucose increases, you may not have enough insulin to move this glucose into your cells. This can result in your blood glucose levels becoming high.

IN WHAT OTHER WAYS CAN STRESS AFFECT MY DIABETES?

It is often harder to find the energy to look after yourself when you’re under stress. All energy is invested in dealing with the stress factor. You may forget your medication or perhaps eat a lot of sugary foods. Many people stop exercising when they get stressed which leads to weight gain. Others may use alcohol or drugs to help dull their pain or distress. It’s a dark path to travel.

CHOOSE A BETTER RESPONSE TO STRESS

Why get diabetes in the first place especially when you have better methods of preventing it? Reduce your stress levels and half the battle is already won. You have some control over your reaction to stress. You can learn to relax and this may reduce your body’s hormonal response to stress. Meditate daily with Swartantra and become a master in controlling your stress levels. Precaution is better than cure especially when your life is at stake.

EFFECTS OF STRESS ON SKIN

When you are stressed, it shows on your body especially on your skin. Under

stress, your body produces epinephrine which tends to work against your skin.

The amount of oxygen reaching your skin gets relatively a lot less as the blood

flow to the surface of the skin decreases under stress. This results in dull

complexion. Don’t you just hate it when this happens especially when you’ve

put in a lot of efforts sweating in the gym or with your daily skin care routine

to get that glow? Don’t look 40 when you’re just 20! Don’t be a victim of tired

and pasty skin. Learn to reduce your stress levels the smart way, the

ITCHY AND UGLY RASHES:

The protective outermost layer of skin if formed by the skin cells tightly packed

together on top of each other. It forms a barrier which prevents the bacteria

from coming in to prevent infection. This protective layer of skin is weakened

under stress. The lipids between the cells evaporate causing the outermost

layer to break forming cracks. These cracks make the skin more permeable

allowing the harmful bacteria to penetrate the deeper levels of your skin. This

makes your skin prone to infection. Skin issues like Eczema and Psoriasis are a

result of a protein which is produced by these bacteria. They can cause

irritation on your skin and can pull down overall body health single handedly.

Don’t embarrass yourself in public with visible rashes. Prevent such skin issues

from occurring by keep your stress levels to the minimum with Swartantra.

The protein that you might want to learn more about in this particular topic is

Collagen. Collagen is responsible for your skin’s elasticity which makes your

skin look absolutely amazing and youthful. Everybody loves having a healthy

and glowing skin but only a few know how to actually maintain this state.

Under stress, a hormone known as Cortisol is released by your body which

causes the sugar level present in your blood to shoot up. Increase in the blood

sugar promotes glycation in the skin which results in the damage of collagen.

This further leads to visible lines and wrinkles on your skin. No matter how

hard you’ll try to suppress these visible skin issues with creams and

moisturizers, they’ll keep re-occurring until you don’t control your stress levels.

Stop looking like an un-ironed shirt! Wake up and adopt a smarter and more

efficient way to deal with stress.

Do not take this lightly. There is a significant connection between stress and

increase in risk of skin cancer. We are quite aware of the fact that stress is

capable of lowering our immune system but did you know that your adult

immune response to fight against the skin cancer cells is even lower and

fragile! Because of a host of psycho-sociopolitical factors, stress has become an

increasing and inevitable part of people's lives. When the immune system

deregulates, it ends up inviting a plethora of diseases any including of skin

cancer. It is extremely important for you to protect yourself from the UV rays

especially when you are under extreme stress. The combination of UV rays and

stress can be very lethal. Let #SWARTANTRA take care of your stress with its

unconventional technology. All you have to do is plug in the headphones and

BENEFITS OF SOUND THERAPY

DIFFERENT KINDS OF SOUNDS

The world of sounds is vast. The source of sound can be humming, loud drums

or even bathroom singing. Influences of certain sounds, rhythms and vibrations

help us overcome from a wide variety of illness. Sound has the power to make

or break your mood. That upbeat tune playing at your gym gets you moving

and helps to motivate you to push the envelope. The rhythm playing at a yoga

centre helps in promoting your focus and concentration. A particular sound

can have a major impact on how you feel throughout the day. Try to imagine

the sound of loud drilling for an hour. Isn’t just reading about it irritating you?

Now imagine the mellow sound of a river flowing or that of the birds chirping.

Doesn’t it make you feel relaxed? Your mind and body reacts differently to

different kind of sounds.

GOOD VIBRATIONS

Some sounds can make you feel better than the others. Your body knows

which sound to get energized to and which ones to slow down to. Sounds

created in a particular way can create a deep sense of well being. It can help in

reducing stress to promote healing. This theory is not something which has

been recently discovered. Chants and mantras have been a part of the Hindu

spirituality for centuries. Given the recent interest in mind-body medicine, it is

not surprising that this ancient tradition is experiencing a modern-day

renaissance. Sound therapy is one of the growing Subtle-Energy therapies that

make up the field of Vibrational Medicine.

BODY RESONANCE

Every part of our body has its own resonance. The whole concept of

Vibrational Medicine is based on the idea that the diseases you get are a result

of those natural resonances tuning out due to stress. Sound therapy helps in

reverting body’s vibrations to its original state very gently.

SWARTANTRA

personal information like birth date, birth place and time of birth into
